Hi to all of my youtube viewers,

Welcome to my website! I know I have not been consisted with my website but in 2012 you will see a lot more posts. I want to post product reviews and let you guys know my honest opinion. Now that I have a good quality camera I can take pictures of the product and do swatches. I’m also interested in doing outfit posts that will range from casual to formal wear. If you guys have any questions and comments on what else I should do let me know! I’m always open for feedback. For now, I will have my comments on approval because I get a lot of spam but once I deal with managing my spam I will keep my comments open.

My next post will be a review on Revlon Lip Butters vs. L’oreal Lip Balms.

Stay tune!

Review: Clinique All About Eyes & Mac Select Moisture Cover Concealer

October 25, 2010

I have always suffer from dark circles. I guess you can say that I get it from my parents. My dad has very bad dark circles and my mom has bags. I inherited both but my bags aren’t as bad. I did not care about my dark circles that much when I was high school because I was not into makeup back then. As I got older and became more sleep deprive due to college, I started getting more concern with my dark circles.

I have two products that I enjoy very much. =) Those two products are the All About Eyes Concealer by Clinique and Select Moisture Cover by Mac. These two retail for a fairly affordable price. The Clinique retails for $15.50 and the Mac concealer for $16.50. I will try to list the pros and cons for each product so you guys can get a better understanding why I love these products.

I also have a youtube channel call http://youtube.com/ginlovesmakeup where I reviewed these two products so check the video out if you are interested. =D
Here is the link to the video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6p58AiLaNuw

1. Clinique- All About Eyes Concealer

-pros-
- The package is very hygienic which means that your product will stay clean and free from any bacteria.
-The price is reasonable because you get .33 FL.OZ and it will last you a LONG time. It lasted me more than a year and half.
-The consistency is very creamy and opaque which means that you only need the smallest amount to cover the entire eye.
-Travel friendly!

-Cons-
-The only thing I can say about this product that I don’t like is that it sometimes creases, but with a little bit more blending the problem is solved!

2. Mac- Select Moisture Cover Concealer

-pros-
-The consistency of the product is very rich and moisturizing that I never get any creases.
-The product is very pigmented that a little goes a long way.
-The sponge applicator allows for the product to not get wasted.

-Cons-
-There is not a lot of product in the tube which can be a downfall. It only has .16 FL.OZ compared to the Clinique which has .33 FL.OZ.
- The sponge can also contaminate the product if not properly taken care of.

I hope this was a helpful post! Please leave me any comments letting me know if you guys have tried these products. I would love to know how it worked for you guys and why you love/hate the products.

Thanks!

take care you all!
